My Expertise

My Skills

Software & Documents

I have experience using various software that are commonly used in the game development scene such as game engine, production tools and visualisation software. I'm also trained to construct game design, production and test documents based on the team's need.

My Abilities

Adaptability

I am lucky enough to work with game developers from different background and skill level in various team size and composition because of my active involvement in game jams, these experiences really help me to identify what a team needs and shape the documents based on their requirements. Feel free to check out some of my game blogs to see how it went.

Plan Ahead

Working in different roles such as Designer, Writer, QA Tester and Project Manager sharpened my ability to detect possible issues in each stage of a game development cycle and prepare alternative solution if it's unavoidable by working in various game projects that involved different platform, genre, team size and time frame.

My Interests

Film and Video Production

I try to watch at least 3 films or TV shows (1 New, 1 Recommend and 1 Random) every week. I enjoy doing this because I realise there are tons of similarity between this two creative media and I love trying to figure out a way to translate certain interesting element from one to another. My favourite directors are Edgar Wright, Mike Flanagan and Quentin Tarantino.

Does it help?

Practical and Relevant

I believe that the skill to create comprehensive live documents is extremely crucial to all successful game development team. I think that with my experiences and the pragmatic abilities that I posses, I will be able to provide the team with concise and precise information required to maintain a smooth development experience.

My previous involvement in producing videos from scratch which includes writing, casting, directing, acting, post production editing helps open up the opportunity for me to put these valuable knowledge such as the proper use of framing, lighting on sets to help convey moods and table read session with actors into use in game development.
