I discovered my passion for game since I was young; I use to draw game level on my exercise book and just ask my friend to play along with me. We use a really simple yet fun mechanic for the paper game, we use our pencil to aim and shoot enemy by just sliding our pencil towards the enemy. I still remember the excitement on their face whenever I promise I will come up with a new level tomorrow. The satisfaction of bringing excitement to people is what drives me towards this route.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The first video game that I play was Pokemon Blue, for some reason, I don't know how to save the game progress when I was young. I end up playing it from the beginning every single time but I never get bored of it. It really impresses me that how a game can be so entertaining even though I have been playing the same part for so many times.

As time goes by, I get to play more game and I finally learn how to save my game. My favourite game for now would be Bioshock Infinite and The last of Us. Both games showcase a perfect blend of good game mechanic and storyline without too focusing on either part. Only with a harmony synchronisation of game mechanic and storyline, players are able to immerse themselves into the game.

I always dream of bringing games that are fun to the world, it can be an addictive game that keeps the player playing for whole day and still be able to enjoy it, it can be a game with great story with depth which allows player to experience life as the character in the game and be willing to connect to it. As long as they get the satisfaction from it, I know I am on the right track.
